Jennifer Schell

Is an International award winning author, writer and passionate local food and wine writer. Her first book  The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine and Cheese Maker - an Okanagan Cookbook captured the world's attention in 2012 with it's unique concept of focussing on the community behind the recipe and the relationships between chef and farmer/artisan//winemaker.  This book captivated book competition judges around the world  through the heartfelt stories of each of the community featured in the book and delightful locally focussed recipes.

Her 2nd book, The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine & Cheese Maker By The Sea, has captured the same spirit of the community on the west coast of British Columbia and promises the same magical lens into that food and drink world with the addition of sea farmers, fishers and all those who live and work by the sea.

The 3rd book and newest release, The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine & Cheese Maker In the Okanagan was published in 2016 and has been short-listed for a Taste Canada Award.
